In this webinar two renowned personalities from the sector: Daniel García, General Director of FAMERAC and Móduoe Solar, and Marisol Oropeza, consultant at matters, founder of Heat Changers and collaborator at Intersolar Mexico, will talk about the latest trends and news so that you can take advantage of all the opportunities offered by this dynamic market.

Daniel García,
General Director of FAMERAC and Módulo Solar

Mechanical and Electrical Engineer graduated from the UNAM. Specialized in renewable energies and senior business management. CEO of Modulo Solar SA de CV. The largest manufacturer of solar heaters in North America. President of FAMERAC (Fabricantes Mexicanos en Energías Renovables AC). Association that brings together the main Mexican manufacturers of renewable energy technologies. Founding member and vice-president of the technical committee for the national solar energy standardization NESO-13. Secretary of organization and secretary of industrial affairs in the National Association of Solar Energy (ANES) in various periods between 2009 and the present. Expert consultant for the United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the German Cooperation (GIZ) for various renewable energy projects in Mexico, Panama, Honduras and Cuba. Expert in design, management, installation, commissioning and development of solar energy solutions with more than 20 years of experience. He has been in charge of projects in 10 countries in renowned companies such as: Grupo BIMBO, NESTLE, PEPSICO, BBVA, COCA COLA, ABC Hospitals, Palace Hotels, Holliday Inn chain, Glaxo Smithkline, among others.

Marisol Oropeza,
Consultant at matters, founder of Heat Changers, Marketing & PR Intersolar Mexico

Business and marketing strategist specialized in the solar thermal market at matters , based in Berlin. She holds a Degree in Business Administration from the UNAM and a Master in European Studies from the Hochschule Bremen in Germany. She completed an exchange semester at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, studied International Cooperation for Sustainable Development at the Technische Universtität Kaiserslautern, and is a graduate of the altMBA programme on leadership and business management of the American Seth Godin. She has worked in the public and private sectors in Mexico and Germany and has 15 years of experience in the solar thermal sector. She has advised major European companies and organizations and lead international projects such as the Heat Changers and the Solar Heating Initiative. She is Secretary for International Affairs of the ANES and works for Intersolar Mexico since 2019.
