Beyond Power Generation: Solar Heating in Mexico

Webinar

Thursday, March 12, 2020 | 11:00am–12:00am CST / 6:00pm–7:00pm CET | Webinar Language: Spanish

Energy consumption in the residential, commercial and industrial sector goes beyond electricity. In the industry alone, 67% of the final energy consumption is for heat, which is covered by fossil fuels. Solar thermal energy is a renewable, reliable and cost effective option. With an installed capacity of 3 GW at the end of 2018, Mexico is the second largest solar thermal market in Latin America. It is also the country with the largest number of projects installed in the industrial sector.
