Agrivoltaics is emerging as an innovative strategy to integrate photovoltaic generation and productive land use within the same territory. In Mexico, the vast areas dedicated to livestock activities create new opportunities for large-scale solar projects based on shared land-use models. This session will explore the potential of agrivoltaic solar grazing in Mexico, including its technical, environmental, and financial benefits for photovoltaic projects. The presentation will discuss how the integration of solar generation and livestock management can strengthen territorial resilience, optimize operational costs, and create new opportunities for a more inclusive and sustainable energy transition.
