multidisciplinary engineering teams. He contributed to the engineering of the biological treatment system for the Atotonilco Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), as well as the expansion of the El Ahogado WWTP and projects in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He is the co-inventor of a patented flexible packing structure.

Industrial growth, pressure on water resources, and the need to reduce energy costs and emissions are creating new opportunities to integrate solar technologies into water infrastructure. This session will explore how solar energy and storage can contribute to more efficient, resilient, and sustainable water management across industrial, urban, and agricultural applications. The discussion will address opportunities in areas such as solar pumping, water treatment and reuse, desalination, efficient water infrastructure, and energy solutions for the water sector, highlighting the potential for collaboration between both industries to accelerate Mexico's energy and water transition.
