Electrical Engineer, graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering (FIMEE) at the University of Guanajuato, with a Master's degree in Administrative Management from the National Technological Institute of Mexico.
He has 37 years of experience in the energy sector, including 32 years with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), where he held various positions, advancing from Office Manager to General Manager of the Bajío Division. Under his leadership, the division achieved recognition as the number-one division in the country.
In October 2021, he founded the Energy Agency of the State of Querétaro and has served as its Director ever since. In this role, he has developed major projects focused on ensuring a reliable electricity supply, improving energy efficiency, and advancing the energy transition, helping sustain the State of Querétaro's continued economic growth and development.
