Mexico City, June 21, 2021 - The International Sustainability Week will be held in person from September 6 to 8, 2022, at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, reinforcing its leadership as the most important event that presents a wide range of solutions, technologies, best practices and knowledge to address Climate Change towards the Circular Economy.
According to Laura Barrera, Event Director of Tarsus Mexico, the impact of these three international giants will be a watershed in Mexico and the region, with an influx of visitors from different countries, in addition to the participation of leading national and international exhibiting companies.
"Mexico is living a strategic moment in terms of sustainability, recently the federal government proposed the decalogue of actions for a safe energy transition to combat climate change and achieve 35% of electricity generation through clean energy. As organizers, we are convinced that through the solutions, technologies and innovations that will be presented at these important forums, we will be able to meet the needs of the different industries in order to fulfill the first commitments towards 2024," said Barrera.
The XXIX edition of THE GREEN EXPO® is the pioneer business forum in Mexico to share tools, knowledge and success stories among industries interested in profitable solutions within a Circular Economy; with the participation of companies from more than 10 countries, the event will promote the generation of business in its specialized pavilions: Biomass, Eco-innovation, Circular Economy and Sustainable Construction.
In this context, CONIECO's International Environmental Congress will be held with the purpose of providing a top-level conference program that will allow attendees to analyze the current situation in environmental matters, as well as to learn about trends and anticipate the challenges that will be faced in the coming years.
The sixth edition of Aquatech Mexico, the gateway to the water industry, will present the initiatives of expert speakers and technologies that favor the intelligent use of water. Visitors will have access to a robust offering of solutions for wastewater treatment; transport and storage; process control and process automation technologies; flood control; water recyclers; pumping equipment; among others.
Due to the water crisis, prolonged droughts, devastating storms, floods and contamination of aquifers that Mexico is facing, it is urgent to implement actions that can efficiently address these problems. This platform will include the participation of companies from Spain, Germany, Mexico, Italy and the United States.
Intersolar Mexico will bring together in its third edition experts in photovoltaic energy and electrical energy storage, as well as solar heating with the participation of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and installers to consolidate the link with potential users from different industrial sectors in Mexico.
Beyond an event, Intersolar Mexico is a strategic ally for solar energy solutions as it has the support of The Smarter E platform, the innovation hub of the new energy world.
According to Marisol Oropeza, Project Manager of Intersolar Mexico, this event presents short-term, cost-effective solutions to the energy challenges faced by companies in all sectors of the Mexican economy.
"There are several areas of opportunity in Mexico for solar technologies because it has an extraordinary solar resource and a solid base of technology providers with great experience; we are excited that Intersolar Mexico is the forum that gathers supply and demand for solutions that guarantee electrical and thermal energy based on the most abundant and cleanest source we have: solar," said Oropeza.
In this way, the International Sustainability Week 2022 will open a range of opportunities to create synergy between the public and private sectors and society in general, to actively contribute to the commitments of Mexico and the international community to combat the destructive impact of climate change and move towards a truly sustainable development.
