Secihti Full-professor at Cinvestav Saltillo since 2014. She has been appointed as Honorary State Researcher of the State of Coahuila (2023-2026). She has been a member of the Sustainable Energy Committee of the Automotive Industry Cluster of Coahuila since 2023. In addition, she is a mentor in the women and girls in science (STEM) program sponsored by the British Council (2023). She was Secretary of the Mexican Hydrogen Society (2017-2018) and a Member of the National System of Researchers (SNII) level 2. Dr. Alonso has published 71 articles (Scopus, h-index 16) and 5 book chapters in renowned publishers (ACS, Springer and Wiley). Regarding human resources training, she has advised 5 PhD students, 19 Master's students and 6 Bachelor's students; teaching classes in Master's and PhD programs at Cinvestav and eventually at the University of Haiti. She leads the Sustainable Energy and Electromobility Laboratory (LESE) in Cinvestav Saltillo, where high-performance advanced nanomaterials are developed for application in hydrogen technologies, next-generation batteries, supercapacitors, and bioelectrochemical systems.

Dr. Edilso F. Reguera Ruiz is a Physicist by training (1972-1977), in 1988 he obtained the degree of Dr. in Chemical Sciences, and in 2010 he was awarded a 2nd level PhD in Physics. He is a National Emeritus Researcher. He has trained 71 masters and 53 doctors in Science. He has published 385 scientific articles, 352 of them in JCR journals; 13 book chapters and one book. His publications accumulate a total of 8601 citations, with the following indexes: h = 48; i10 = 216, according to https://scholar.google.com.mx/citations?user=fneVNyAAAAAJ&hl=es. He has 19 patents granted. In 2023 he received the National Science Award of Mexico, in the modality Technology and Design. He is the founder and scientific leader of the National Laboratory of Energy Conversion and Storage, founded in December 2016. This is a laboratory of the Mexican Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation. His areas of interest are the use of renewable energy sources, new materials and advanced technologies for energy storage to contribute to optimize the penetration of renewable energy sources in the energy matrix of Mexico.

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from ITESM and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Recipient of the National IIM-UNAM Award in 2005. She works at CNYN-UNAM. Her work has made a significant impact in Mexico in the field of materials for supercapacitors.
