The energy reform in Mexico has led to new schemes to promote renewable electricity self-consumption, replacing the model previously known as isolated supply. This session will analyze the regulatory implications of interconnected and isolated self-consumption, which allow installations of more than 0.7 MW and up to 20 MW. The opportunities these schemes represent for PV projects in the industrial sector will also be explored.
