Her professional career has been highlighted by her experience in the Mexican electricity regulator; in the last 8 years she has specialized in Distributed Energy Resources and the integration of variable renewable energies. She is currently a consultant on circular economy strategies and resource efficiency at Reverso Consultores, and teaches on energy and sustainability issues
