Fue miembro del equipo a cargo del diseño e implementación de la Reforma Constitucional en Materia de Energía de 2013 y un actor clave en el desarrollo de los mercados de gas natural, gas LP y petrolíferos así como de las políticas de almacenamiento She holds a degree in Finance from the Technological University of Mexico, a Master in Finance from UNAM and a Master in Economic Regulation of Network Industries from the University of Barcelona. She is an advisor on energy policy and regulation, an international speaker on energy issues and Founding Advisor of the Voz Experta group, a high-profile women's collective whose objective is to make women visible in energy forums. She is a member of the Board of Directors of ANES, member of the International Women's Forum, among others. Petróleo y Energía magazine recognized her as one of the 100 leaders of the Energy Sector in Mexico for the years 2020 and 2021. This has made her one of the most recognized energy experts in Mexico. Her professional experience spans 15 years in the Mexican financial sector and more than 20 years in the energy sector, where she worked as a public official at the Energy Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Energy between 2000 and 2018.
