He is an Electrical-Electronic Engineer graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM.

He has specialized and has 13 years of experience in the design of isolated and interconnected photovoltaic systems, fixed and concentrated, as well as in the technical analysis for the preparation of proposals, executive projects and annexes for bids or tenders.

He has participated in the elaboration of the Labor Competency Standards related to PV systems (from EC0378 in 2013, EC0586 of 2015, EC0586.01 of 2017, EC1180 and EC1181 of 2019).

He is an expert in renewable energies with a specialty in PV systems by the CONAPPER of the Colegio de Ingenieros Mecánicos Electricistas.

He participates in the Working Group that revises the ANT-PROY-NOM-019-CRE-2024, "Photovoltaic systems - photovoltaic panels, inverters and mounting structures - safety requirements and test methods".

Participates in the Renewable Energy Working Group of the Association for Standardization and Certification ANCE collaborating in the homologation of international to national standards.

Advisor of the CASA project where he was responsible for the electrical system and the Photovoltaic System. This project was winner of the "1st place in Engineering and Construction" in the Solar Decathlon 2014 held in Versailles France.

Advisor to the German cooperation agency GIZ for photovoltaic system projects within the framework of the Mexico-Cuba German triangular cooperation program.

With more than 25 years of professional experience, Norma specializes in energy, regulation, ESG, climate change and environment issues. She has worked in both the private sector, advising different national and foreign clients on environmental, real estate and energy issues, as well as in the public sector in different positions.Her time at the Energy Regulatory Commission is relevant, as she was part of the Government's advisory group that developed the 2014 Energy Reform, being responsible for the regulation and implementation of the Clean Energy Certificate mechanism and the Energy Certificate Management System (S-CEL). During her tenure as General Director of Clean Energy Integration, she served as Focal Point for Climate Change in said Commission.It is noteworthy her work in electricity matters, having been responsible for regulation of one of the main electricity companies in the sector. "Araceli Hernández Granados is a dynamic professional at the forefront of chemistry and renewable energy. Currently, she works as a Research-Scientist for KT at NewFoS (University of Arizona). With a Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science (CIICAP-UAEM/IER-UNAM), Araceli's research has centered on mesoporous titanium dioxide structures for third-generation solar cells. Her academic journey includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Physics and Science (ICF-UNAM) in Mexico, as an Executive Assistant at the National Solar Energy Association in Mexico City, and as an Innovation Analyst at CEMIESOL. She also worked as a Senior Engineer at TG Companies, where she focused on recovering and recycling solar panels through circular chemistry. Araceli has been awarded various prizes, such as the UNESCO Regional Chair, Women, Science, and Technology in Latin America, alongside the Economic Development Agency of the City Council of Barcelona. She has several articles published in international journals and has recently discovered a great passion for writing popular science articles. Beyond her professional achievements, Araceli is a passionate advocate for STEM education, contributing to initiatives that empower women and girls in science. Her commitment extends to podcast appearances, where she discusses engineering for a sustainable future."
