Specialist in energy efficiency and solar energy systems (photovoltaic, thermal and hybrid). He has worked in the design, development and execution of different energy generation projects in different parts of the world. He obtained a degree in mechatronics engineering at the University of the Armed Forces in Ecuador and a master's degree in science with a specialization in Energy Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He obtained his PhD at the same institution where he was part of research projects in conjunction with MIT, University of California, Imperial College London, Google, and others. He currently serves as Senior Project Manager at MG Sustainable Engineering in Sweden and is a research associate of the Energy and Climate Change Group at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has been a member of winning teams of different technological development projects in Ecuador, Mexico, USA, Europe, and the UK. He is a founding partner of the Solar Energy Research Network of Ecuador and General Director of the same.
