Chemical Engineer from the University of Sonora, Master of Science in Solar Energy and PhD in Engineering from the UNAM. University Research Professor (University of Sonora), he was Technical Manager of the Hermosillo Solar Platform. He develops energy projects in the area of: Evaluation of renewable energy sources, Solar Concentration and Heat Transfer. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Engineering (AI) and of the SNI-CONAHCyT. He is currently the head of the Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Economy of the Government of the State of Sonora since October 2021. Responsible for the Social Programme of Distributed Solar Generation and the monitoring of the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan.

Energy Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana with a specialization in renewable energies. In 2015 she worked at the National Solar Energy Association and in 2016 she worked at the Federal Electricity Commission in the Clean Energy Department. She also worked as an Energy Engineer in the private sector, in activities related to the Wholesale Electricity Market. Since 2019 she is part of the team that operates the Solar City Strategy of SEDECO. As part of her activities, the following stand out: Operation of the "Solar Energy for MSMEs" Programme in the category of Solar Water Heating Systems in technical surveys, attention to beneficiaries and liaison with suppliers. Preparation of Operating Guidelines for the "Solar Energy for MSMEs" Programme, establishing quality criteria for the incorporation of qualified suppliers. Guidance to organizations (INVI, Commission for Reconstruction) and private companies regarding the interpretation and application of the Environmental Standard NADF-008-AMBT-2017 on Solar Water Heating. Support in environmental procedures (Environmental Impact Assessment) for the project "Photovoltaic Power Plant in the Central de Abastos"

She has more than 10 years of experience in the electricity sector and since 2012 she has had the opportunity to collaborate in international environments with different actors such as regulators, monitoring units, operators and participants, which gives her a broad vision of the activities and business of the electricity market. In the electricity industry in Mexico she has collaborated in different evaluations of Distributed Generation projects using solar technology with both the CFE and End Users. She is currently Director of Business Intelligence at Enegence.

He has more than 12 years of experience in the public and private sector mainly in the areas of energy management, renewable energy, project development and management, public policy, international business, investment attraction, business modelling, and public-private partnerships. He currently serves as Director General of the Energy Agency of Nuevo Leon, attached to the Ministry of Economy of the State, where he has worked as coordinator of foreign investment, market intelligence, strategic projects and Director of Energy and Mining Development. He has participated as a speaker and panelist in Mexico and abroad on topics such as foreign investment, energy efficiency, distributed generation, green hydrogen, infrastructure for energy transition, business sustainability, investment and nearshoring.
